North American Whiskey

North American Whiskey, which is a broad category of spirits that is produced by the distillate of a fermented grain mash which is aged and then blended. These whiskeys are most commonly produced in the United States and Canada. The most famous American Whiskey is of course, Bourbon whiskies.

Bourbon is a whiskey that is produced only in Bourbon County, Kentucky. Also the mash that is used in the distilling must be at least 51% corn.
