Kegs

Kegerators and parties require kegs and Colonial Spirits of Acton can get you the keg you want.
 We ask that if you have a special order for a keg, that you contact us at least a week before.  But if you want one of our more popular kegs, then just come on in.  Most kegs get delivered to the store on Wednesdays, so for the weekend we’ll need to know what you want before that.

Deposits are as follows: $40 deposit for the keg, and a $50 deposit for the tap. 
Both will be refunded upon return of the product. We will always have a tap available for your keg.

Here is a quick guide to how many beers are in a keg.

When beer is produced, the end product is measured by barrels. In the US a barrel is 31 gallons of beer. Keg size is determined by this measurement.  The largest available keg for consumers is the 1/2 Barrel Keg.

So a quick guide to keg size is as follows (approximate):

• 1/6 Barrel = 54 Beers
• 1/4 Barrel = 82 Beers
• 1/2 Barrel = 164 Beers
