SUMMARY:Thanksgiving Dinner with Sue
DESCRIPTION:Nothing beats a homecooked Thanksgiving dinner.\nExcept Thanksgiving dinner paired with some great wines. \nWe regularly talk about how wine pairs well with food. In some cases\, you have to take our word for it because the food isn’t in front of you. This tasting takes the guesswork out of the equation. Sue\, almost an employee if you ask us\, will be stopping by with a handful of wines and platters full of food. From turkey to gravy and from white to red wines\, Sue will help us make the right pairings. The difference being\, you will experience it first-hand. Sue will be providing a Thanksgiving dinner that will have all of the fixin’s and the wines to go with it. Nibble hear\, sip there and you will see just how well the wines interact with the food. No need to worry about the outcome because you will get to pick your favorite pairings. \nOutside of our Grand tastings\, this is the most talked about event of the year.\nThis has become an annual tasting because of how well received it has been. Come on\, free food and good wine. How much better does it get? So if you find yourself stressing over what to serve this Thanksgiving\, this event is for you. You will be able to leave our store confident with your wine pairing choices. \nThe lineup: \nDr. Heyden Silvaner Rheinhessen\nLeft Field Pinot Gris Nelson\nZabu Nero d’Avola\nDupueble Beaujolais Rosé\nMont Marcal Cava Brut Reserva\nColene Clemens Pinot Noir Dopp Creek Chehalem Mtn

SUMMARY:The Annual Colonial Spirits Oktoberfest 9/28 1-5 PM
DESCRIPTION:  \nIt’s that time of the year again folks! One of the biggest events we host at Colonial Spirits is back for all of your enjoyment. It’s time to break out the steins and Oktoberfest music for an afternoon of fun. We’ll have plenty of traditional German Festbier’s\, Marzens and loads of other seasonal fall brews. As always we’ll be grilling up some complimentary Brautwurst with kraut. \nUnlike the way they celebrate Oktoberfest in Germany\, this is a 1 day event where we pack all of the two weeks of chaos and fun into a 4 hour window. Of course this event is free of charge! We encourage you bring anyone and everyone you please. We hope to see you all on September 28th. \nProst!

SUMMARY:Summer Bash 2019: Summer is Here
DESCRIPTION:The Summer Bash may just be our biggest event of the year.\nSure the Grand Wine Tastings are spectacular\, and our Oktoberfest is hard to beat\, but none compare to the Summer Bash. Unlike the other major events that we host\, the Summer Bash is our way of saying thank you. It allows us to wind down and talk to all of the customers that make what we do so much fun. \nLet’s be real what more do you need than free food\, free drinks\, fun\, and good company? \nAvailable to taste: \n19 Crimes–\nOriginal Red Blend\nBanished Red Blend\nCabernet Sauvignon\nPinot Noir\nShiraz

SUMMARY:Colonial Spirits' 5th Annual Summer Bash
DESCRIPTION:Welcome to Colonial Spirits’ 5th Annual Summer Bash.\nThe Summer Bash is one of our favorite event of the year. Unlike our samplings and seminars\, the Summer Bash is a time for fun and festivities. It marks the beginning of summer\, the season of get-togethers and slower days. The first of which is right here. \nWith a tasting lineup that is sure to chill you down\, plenty of BBQ (hot dogs and burgers)\, and a few yard games this will be our biggest event yet. Beer\, liquor\, wine\, and mixed drinks will be sampled throughout the afternoon. Take a step outside and you will find one of our very own manning the grill along with favorite yard games. Bocce anyone? We may bring back cornhole as well\, but now I’m getting ahead of myself. \nInstead of stating the reasons you should go\, I’m going to say\, “GO!” Life is about making memories\, so why not make one with us. \nThe line-up: \nTito’s Vodka — 1-4 pm \nCleveland Underground — 1-5 pm \nStirring’s Cocktail Mixers — 1-5 pm \nHouse Bear Brewing Mead — 1:30-5 pm \nJack’s Abby Craft Lagers — \nNight Shift Brewing — \nTrue North Ale Company– \n

SUMMARY:Goose Island Bourbon County Release 2017
DESCRIPTION:For the third year in a row\, we will be hosting the Goose Island Bourbon County Black Friday release.  This was a huge success last year and the year before so why change something that ain’t broke.\nHere is how the release will work for the Goose Island Bourbon County.  We will be opening our doors at 9am on Friday\, November 24th.  Once the doors open\, we will be funneling people into our tasting room. We will have a one bottle limit on the variants and a 3 case limit on the Brand Stout. There will be plenty of the Brand Stout to go around\, but the variants will be in short supply per usual. So\, if you are looking to get your hands on some of the variants arrive early. That is the basic breakdown. \nAdditionally\, three lucky customers will be fortunate enough to not have to wait in line. You read that right. By purchasing a raffle ticket(s) your name will be entered in the raffle for the chance to win the opportunity to purchase the full allotment without having to wait in line. The allotment will be reserved and may be purchased at a later time within 30 days of Friday\, Nov 24\, 2017\, if not the allotment will be placed in open inventory. No limits on the number of tickets and all proceeds will go to the Acton Food Pantry. Tickets may be purchased HERE or in-store at the register. \nThis has become an annual event and each year has seen the interest and reception of these beers grow. If you haven’t tried them you should. \nSee everyone there.

SUMMARY:Colonial Spirits Oktoberfest 2017!
DESCRIPTION:Guten Tag!  Join us This Saturday\, 9/23 from 1-5 p.m. for the Colonial Spirits Oktoberfest experience!\n\n \nThe days are quickly dwindling until we host our annual Oktoberfest here inside the walls of Colonial Spirits.  No\, there will be no tents or week-long festivals as you traditionally see in Germany.  And\, no\, unfortunately we cannot actually pour boots of beer\, though we’d love to (sorry!).  However\, we will have a day of beer tasting with Colonial Spirits flare! \nThere will be several traditional Oktoberfests and Marzens to try\, as well as our most popular American fall seasonal\, the pumpkin ale\, in abundance!  We will also be pouring tastes of fall seasonal beers that reach outside of both of these categories from some of the best breweries in America.  We will also be serving Bratwurst\, Sauerkraut and pretzels!   We hope to see you Saturday! \nTschüss! (for now!) \n  \n

SUMMARY:Colonial Classic Golf Tournament (9-Holes)
DESCRIPTION:You might be looking at the name of the event and asking yourself\, what is that? Answer: Something new.\nHaving fun is important because it centers us\, gives us breathing room\, and helps us manage the weekly load. We understand the importance of having fun\, which is why we will be holding our first golf tournament: The Colonial Classic. *Disclaimer: This is a 9-Hole tournament. \nThis is a no-strings-attached\, hassle-free golf tournament that is meant to help us cultivate new relationships and fortify existing ones.\nWe are keeping the golf tournament local and simple as it is our first. The Colonial Classic Golf Tournament will take place on Thursday\, September 14 with a shotgun start at 9:30 AM (be there no later than 9 AM for registration) at the Quail Ridge Country Club. After the 10-hole round\, there will be lunch along with handing out of prizes. –Sidenote: Quail Ridge’s unique layout allows their 9-hole course to be converted into a 10-hole course to accommodate a larger crowd.– The prizes will go to the winners of the following categories: Longest Drive\, Closest to the Pin\, and Best Team Score. There might be other opportunities to win prizes. \nThe setup will be like most golf tournaments where there will be groups of four at each hole. On the Par 3s there will be two groups of four. 10 holes shouldn’t take more than 3 hours\, and a quick lunch afterward should have most of us home by no later than 2. Everyone is welcome to stay longer\, but that is the current schedule. \nTo reiterate\, this is for fun.\nBring a buddy\, or two\, or three to round out the foursome. Drinks will be available (cash bar). This is an event that is supposed to bring out the child in all of us. It’s meant to be a fun\, frill-free morning for both new and veteran golfers alike. \nHope you can make it. \nIf you would like to join us for a great round of golf Click Here to purchase the ticket(s).\nPrizes –\nLongest Drive: Cobra ‘King F6’ Driver\nClosest to the Pin: Odyssey ‘William Hill’ Logo Putter\nBest Team Score 1st\, 2nd\, and 3rd: Wine
