They focus almost entirely on small production\, eclectic\, niche wines that represent what wines should be based on the terroir and not what they can be due to winemaker intervention. Some of the more popular wines that Oz represents are Serge Lalou Sancerre\, Domaine Guy Allion\, Edmunds St. John\, Clos Saron\, Matthiason\, and Gran Familia just to give you an idea. They may not have the overwhelming store presence like some of their counterparts\, but they should have that presence in your cellar once you have tried their wines. The Columbia Winery wines have always been great values\, equal to premier brands like Ch. Ste. Michelle\, but they never seemed to catch on they way Ste. Michelle did. It took a very innovative group to realize Columbia Winery’s potential and bring the brand back into the market in a way that had never been done before. The brand was relabeled\, reinvented\, made to be a restaurant only wine\, up until recently\, and with any luck and perseverance will become a power brand soon enough. The wines from Columbia Winery show exemplarily fruit for each varietal\, and great balance with the red blend. The Columbia wines are rich\, well balanced\, and stylistic of not only the varietal but the region. These wines are worth trying and getting to know because there is a very good chance they will be around for quite some time. \nCarpe Vinum!

DESCRIPTION:They might be small\, but never overlook them. Oz Wine Co. is the brainchild of Andrew\, and every Somm and wine expert dream. They focus almost entirely on small production\, eclectic\, niche wines that represent what wines should be based on the terroir and not what they can be due to winemaker intervention. Some of the more popular wines that Oz represents are Serge Lalou Sancerre\, Domaine Guy Allion\, Edmunds St. John\, Clos Saron\, Matthiason\, and Gran Familia just to give you an idea. They may not have the overwhelming store presence like some of their counterparts\, but they should have that presence in your cellar once you have tried their wines. These wines have always been extremely enjoyable and well priced\, but you don’t have to take my word for it\, just stop by and try them for yourself. \n  \nCarpe Vinum!
