DESCRIPTION:The next single barrel of Weller 107 is on the way – I just need help choosing… \nLate last summer we chose a single barrel of Weller 107 from a few excellent samples and ended up with a stock of amazing Bourbon.  After word got out the bottles moved pretty quickly and I have had numerous requests for more.  Sadly\, as it goes with single barrels\, that can never be reproduced.  I\, however\, am quite optimistic that we can do just as well if not better with our next selection. \nI’ve got 3 samples from 3 different barrels and am anxious to discover which will be our next private bottling of a single barrel Weller.  The value and quality of this Bourbon are unbeatable  and I cannot wait to have more. \nJoin us on the 6th of June (this Saturday) from 2 to 4pm to help chose the next awesome barrel of Bourbon. \nCheers! \n\n\n	Related

SUMMARY:Spencer Trappist & Bantam Cider Tasting
DESCRIPTION:On May 16th we are having a two-for-one tasting.  While both drink makers are producing high quality beverages\, they are in two very different categories.  First we have a Trappist Ale from Spencer.  Brewed by the Monk’s of Saint Joseph’s Abbey in Spencer\, MA\, this ale is quickly becoming one of the most highly sought out brews from Massachusetts.  Unfiltered and unpasteurized\, Spencer is golden hued\, full body\, with accents of fruit and subtle hop bitterness.   The other libations we will be tasting are from Bantam\, a cidery out of Somerville.  Bantam produces some high quality\, small batch ciders.  We will be tasting their flagship Wunderkind\, a light and crisp cider\, and the Rojo\, a cider which is aged with sour cherries and black peppercorn and uses an ale yeast.  Come out between 4-6pm to taste these two relatively new\, but well received beverages.  Our old friend Pat Suleski. \n\n\n	Related

The wines are rich and powerful\, they resemble New World wines more so than Old World wines. Rueda is known for its white wines. These wines are classic representations of the region and wines from Europe: bright acidity\, stone fruit notes\, and pair well with an array of dishes. The only downside is that the varietal Verdejo is less known than other varietals like Sauvignon Blanc\, Chardonnay\, and Pinot Grigio\, but it’s quality is right up there with the rest. All of the wines are sustainably and estate grown and are some of the best representations of the classic California style of winemaking; rich\, reserved\, concentrated\, fruity and a whole lot of fun in the glass. Shannon Ridge is out of Lake County AVA\, a newer appellation that boasts rich wines that show restraint and balance. To put it into perspective a LOT of brand labels purchase fruit from Lake County to give their wines the body and fruitiness necessary to make a sellable wine. Shannon Ridge is unique because they are one of the few true wineries in the area that\, better still\, make great wines.
