DESCRIPTION:On May 16th we are having a two-for-one tasting.  While both drink makers are producing high quality beverages\, they are in two very different categories.  First we have a Trappist Ale from Spencer.  Brewed by the Monk’s of Saint Joseph’s Abbey in Spencer\, MA\, this ale is quickly becoming one of the most highly sought out brews from Massachusetts.  Unfiltered and unpasteurized\, Spencer is golden hued\, full body\, with accents of fruit and subtle hop bitterness.   The other libations we will be tasting are from Bantam\, a cidery out of Somerville.  Bantam produces some high quality\, small batch ciders.  We will be tasting their flagship Wunderkind\, a light and crisp cider\, and the Rojo\, a cider which is aged with sour cherries and black peppercorn and uses an ale yeast.  Come out between 4-6pm to taste these two relatively new\, but well received beverages.  Our old friend Pat Suleski. \n\n\n	Related

SUMMARY:Annual Grand Tasting for Oktoberfest and Pumpkin Beer
DESCRIPTION:This tasting will be HUGE. Every year we gather up all the Pumpkin and Oktoberfest beers we can get our hands on and have a grand tasting showcasing the whole lot.  We are opening over 50 kinds of beer from brewers near and far.  We have many Oktoberfest beers from Germany as well as from all around the US.  We have Pumpkin porters\, pumpkin ales\, and pumpkin ciders that will satisfy any lover of all things pumpkin.  We will be grilling up bratwurst as well and all of this is completely FREE!  This is our biggest tasting of the year and an event that will be both informative and fun.    This will be an all-hands-on-deck tasting.  Everyone here will be helping with the tasting\, so it is a nice time to come out and interact with our staff.  Representatives from different breweries will be helping us pour their seasonal brews.  This is the granddaddy of beer tastings and one you will not want to miss. \n\n\n	Related

DESCRIPTION:Old Forester Bourbon doesn’t get much press or attention these days.  In recent history it maintained presence as a value brand and effectively held on through the 20 or so years when Bourbon wasn’t popular because of exceptional quality and unwavering production standards dating back to 1870.  Today Old Forester is still a good value.  It is probably the best buy on the shelf and is of notable quality among a vast selection in an extremely popular category of spirits. \nDon Jean\, the region rep is hosting an open tasting on Friday the 26th from 4-7pm.  Expect to be impressed by two offerings at 86 proof and 100 proof.  You’ll also be entertained with a wealth of fun facts and history that only someone with 30 years of experience with whiskey could remember.  This will be a fun and educational event\, where you are likely to discover one of the best Bourbons around. \n\n\n	Related
