12 Brew Saison/Wheat Tasting

This coming Saturday (the 16th) we’re going to be hosting a pretty cool event in conjunction with beer aficionado JB Master of Tigris Imports; we’ll be conducting a seminar tasting on the Saison and wheat beers most appropriate for the coming summer months! This will be a great opportunity to try 12 refreshing brews covering a wide range of flavors, and to be walked through the differences of style and taste by a true expert.

This seminar will take place at 6 PM, in the tasting room at Colonial Spirits of Acton. There will be a $5 fee to participate, for which you will enjoy an hour of guided tasting through the 12 beers, and a complimentary tasting glass. We have a limited number of available seats, so if you’d like to come please RSVP to me at your earliest convenience. Here’s the planned list of beers to be tasted (a handful are subject to change, as there have been a few stock problems at the distributor’s warehouse):

Saisons: Avril, Saison Dupont, St Feuillien Saison, Vapeur Saison de Pipaix, Del Ducato Nuova Mattina, Urthel Saisonniere.

Wheat Ales: Schneider Weiss, Leipziger Gose, Banhof Berliner, Hitachino White, Schneider-Brooklyner Hopfen Weiss, Aventinus
