Cabernet Sauvignon Weekend: Sale & Tasting
January 30, 2016 @ 9:00 am - January 31, 2016 @ 6:00 pm
Cabernet Sauvignon is well known among wine enthusiasts as the principal and, in some cases, the only grape used in the production many of the world’s finest red wines. Unlike wines made from other international grapes, the characteristics of which typically reflect where they are grown, the flavor profile of a Cabernet is unmistakable. Indeed, given a warm climate, well-drained soil, a well-timed harvest, and a skilled winemaker, Cabernet is capable of delivering complex, well-balanced flavorful wines reminiscent of the finest Bordeaux, regardless of location. The coming Sunday, the Colonial Spirits wine team is offering customers the opportunity to experience
Cabernets Sauvignons representing some of the best-known regions during a free tasting from 1:00 pm to 4: 00 pm. In addition, every Cabernet and Cabernet blend from the same regions – California’s Napa and Sonoma Valleys, Washington’s Columbia Valleys, Argentina, Chile, and Bordeaux’s left bank AOCs, will be offered at a 20% discount for six or more bottles from Saturday’s 9:00 am opening until Sunday’s 6:00 pm closing. Stop by this weekend and experience the unique characteristics of Cabernet Sauvignon and pick up a few bottles of your favorites.
