Kuka works to bring traditional ingredients from the Andean region of South America and combine it with a modern approach to craft brewing. The word “kuka” itself means “food for workers and travelers” in Aymaran, a native Andean language. Kuka focuses on using ingredients that were central to daily and ceremonial traditions of people from the Andes. The maca root, native to the High Andes in Peru and used as a root vegetable for cooking, for medicinal purposes, as well as a supposed aphrodisiac, is at the heart of every beer they produce. They brew many different styles of artisan brews and we hope you will join us on November 7th from 4-6pm to taste what they have to offer.
