Monkey Shoulder is a blend of three single malt whiskies, all of which were distilled in different distilleries and blended together to create a “triple malt”.
While most blended Scotch consists of some Scotch whisky and a neutral grain spirit filler, Monkey Shoulder is a blend of three classic single malts from the Speyside region. Each Single Malt is aged separately in first fill ex bourbon casks and married together for three to six months in a small tun. The finished product is an elegant sipping whisky with an outstanding quality to price ratio.
