Winesellers’ Cidra (Cider) Tasting

August 13, 2016 @ 1:00 am - 3:00 pm

You may have heard this, but in case you didn’t, Ciders are a thing. From California to France, it seems that every state and country are now producing ciders. Whether you prefer a nice cold beer or would rather contemplate over a glass of wine, there is a cider for everyone. Like their counterparts, the best ciders in the world come from countries that have a history in making it. Jonny Appleseed may have put cider on the tables of Americans, but the French and Spanish had been producing cider long before Jonny was a twinkle in his father’s eye.

However, taste is subjective which is why there is nothing like trying it for yourself. We will be hosting Lee, from Winesellers, who will be sampling a handful of craft ciders his company imports. These are real ciders with cork and cage but without all of the pretentiousness associated with other European exports. So, if you are looking to change things up or just looking for the next best cider, this is it.

Here’s the lineup:

Le Brun Cidre de Bretagne Brut
Le Brun Organic Cidre
Manoir de Grandouet Cidre Fermier Brut
Manoir de Grandouet Cidre Pays d’Auge AOP
