Deep gold color. Aromas of creamy vanilla, herbs, wood spice, and subtle fruit. Light and creamy in body. On the palate, this whisky starts out clean and sweet, with notes of vanilla and honey. It then turns dry with spicy, herbal, soft fruity notes, finishing on the dry side. This whisky still retains the soft, creamy, vanilla and honey notes typical of Glengoyne. The Scottish Oak wood finish adds depth, complexity, and body to the whisky-a new dimension. It is for those who enjoy Glengoyne whisky but would like to see it with a little more robustness.
