Absinthe Ordinaire is one of the oldest traditional absinthe recipes. Some legends actually claim it’s the first true Absinthe recipe created by Dr. Pierre Ordinaire in 1792 in rural France. While there are a wide array of brands produced in Europe and the United States under the absinthe name, the majority of these don’t come as close to the original Absinthe recipes as Absinthe Ordinaire does.
