Sam Smith’s #1

For the first tasting of the month we are starting off with Samuel Smith’s, our Brewery of the Month.  They are the oldest brewery in Yorkshire, starting back in 1758, making them one of the oldest breweries in all of England.  Fermented in Yorkshire Sandstone and casked, these brews are quinticentially English.  A huge influence in the early days of the craft movement, when good beer had to be shipped into the land of piss-yellow lagers, Samuel Smith’s still holds respect world wide.  Come check out this staple in the beer world and learn more about this fine Northern Brewer.  April 5th 1-3pm.
