American whiskey is more than Bourbon, but how does one make sense of it when Bourbon is the only classification with a well known profile (ok, Rye is pretty much a known quantity too). Craft distilling is an exciting frontier in the US and the breadth of whiskies is equally exciting.
A local spirits expert, Brandon Rucker, will be presenting whiskies and some insider info on how to navigate the growing number of appealing bottles on our shelves.
Brandon has a (roughly) 30 minute presentation followed by 30minutes of open tasting and Q&A at both 6pm and 7pm on Friday, August 28th. Each session is free and if you would like to attend please reserve a spot as space may be limited. RSVP to Tim.
