Blackstrap molasses imparts vanilla notes, while sweet molasses, brings a cleaner, fruitier flavor. The combination creates a really unique, nuanced taste.  Some nice banana and pineapple notes complement the more traditional molasses flavors while chocolate, vanilla, oak and more comes from the barrel.
