Regarding this wine, Patrick Suleski, says, “…the wine presents the ruby red color, medium to full body and rustic drinkability that I expect from the southern Rhone. It discards the pure raspberry and forest floor aromas in favor of adding a strong floral character to the mix. Lilacs, violets, the sort of blue flowers that you don’t really smell until you’re right next to them really become evident on the palate, and contribute an extra layer to the Rhone village bouquet, as well as culling out another layer of flavors in whatever you happen to be eating with your glass.”
