Oban Scotch Whisky, 21yr – 750ml

The Oban 21 year is a natural cask strength whisky, which was matured in rejuvenated American Oak and second-fill ex-Bodega casks. It has a nose of sweet toffee and buttery pastry with hints of linseed oil and cinnamon as well. Its mouth is also sweet and honeyed with some vanilla, which quickly turns spicy and salty, while retaining its oily character. The finish is long and slightly tangy but with echoes of fruit.
