Sap House Meadery Tasting
Sap House Meadery is one of the best examples of meads produced in the New England. It's bottled and produced in New Hampshire using only local ingredients (except for the vanilla). Mead isn't easy to understand and is an acquired taste, but not this mead. Sap House Meadery has revolutionized, in my opinion, what mead is and should be. If you don't believe me come in and see for yourself, you will not be disappointed.

House Bear Brewing Mead Tasting
Mead has seen a recent rise in interest and intrigue as of late, and rightly so when you consider it is one of the oldest forms of alcohol. But modern mead isn't quite what you expect. Enter House Bear Brewing. House Bear is one of the newer mead brewers, but in the short time they have been around they have created quite a "buzz" with meads like World War Bee, Paradise Unpaved, and Show Bear. On the 6th day, there was honey and shortly after Mead. At least that is how 1634 Meadery would have you believe it. 1634 Meadery has taken one of the oldest alcoholic beverages known to man and has made it 'cool' again if you ask us. What was once a specialty drink is slowly turning into a mainstay and 1634 is leading the way. If you are new to mead the Raspberry Delight might be the place to start. However,…

House Bear Brewing Mead Tasting
It ain't a party without a House Bear. Or two. House Bear Brewing may be one of the OG meaderies. They were founded in 2013 which puts them ahead of most--also around the time craft beer was taking off. Like the Vikings, HBB had a long road ahead of them as selling mead is no easy task. In order to stay in business, HBB would have to outwit craft breweries, wineries, and whiskey distilleries. And that is exactly what they…
