Von Trapp Brewing Tasting

Von Trapp was started as an American vision to create a German/Austrian version of lagers. The brewery began it’s operation at the Trapp Family Lodge in Stowe, Vermont back in the spring of 2010. They now reside at their newer 30,000 square foot facility that is capable of brewing a whopping 36,000 barrels annually! Through the 9 years of business they’ve received numerous amounts of awards for their beers. This is not a shocker as all of their brews emulate German style beers terrifically.  Join us on July 13th from 1-4 to taste some of the best pilsner/ lagers in New England!

All of their imports come from family or abbey owned breweries that brew with an organic approach and traditional brewing practice. Some of the breweries we’ll be pouring consist of Ayinger, Samuel Smith and Lindemans.  We’re very excited to have them at our store, as you should be too! We hope to see you on June 7th.

Jack’s Abby Craft Lagers Tasting

Jack’s Abby was founded in 2011 by a trio of brothers ready to dive head first into the booming craft beer business. Since their opening in 2011,  Jack’s has exceeded expectations. They’ve won over 50 awards,  tripled the size of their brewery, expanded throughout the country and all while doing that added another brewery to their family (Springdale). One of the breweries very unique traits is the use of old-world brewing techniques. This takes a little bit longer ranging from 4-6 weeks but the final product is a much more balanced beer.  In addition to that they source their hops and malt from small family operations in Bavaria.  If you ask me there’s no better way to brew German style beer than brewing it with German ingredients. Now that you know a little bit about the beer it’s time for you to come in and enjoy it! Stop by on May 25th from 12pm to 3pm to drink some delicious Massachusetts made Lagers.
